Deep in Chhattisgarh’s tribal heartland, Bheja Jungli village in Balod’s Gurur block is set for an education overhaul. Retired IAS NP Singh spearheaded the bhoomi pujan for Tathagata Global Gurukul, joined by ex-ST Commission head GR Rana. Backed by Jakwar Foundation and Tathagata Trust, the ceremony resonated with local Adivasis eager for change.
Kicking off with invocations to Raja Rao Baba, Kankalin Mata, and tribute to Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh, the event set a spiritual tone. NP Singh articulated a clear vision: equip remote children with metropolitan-grade education to forge their destinies.
The gurukul rivals top Delhi schools, providing gratis access to holistic learning—academics, ethics, career guidance, military training, employment skills, and women’s entrepreneurship programs. Construction begins next February, with a vowed inauguration at Raja Rao Plateau rituals.
Particularly targeting gifted low-income youth, Singh anticipates future IAS, IPS, and judicial stars. Impacting Bheja Jungli and surrounding 10-12 villages, the forest area’s mood is jubilant post-event. Sarpanch Sheela Yadav and other leaders’ presence highlights widespread support for this beacon of opportunity.
