    The Indian film fraternity is united in grief following the passing of legendary actor Satish Shah on Saturday. Known for his unparalleled comedic prowess and versatility, Shah’s demise at the age of 74 has been met with a flood of tributes from his esteemed colleagues.

    Amitabh Bachchan conveyed his deep sorrow, lamenting the loss of a “young talent” and expressing the palpable sense of unease within the industry. He questioned the notion of normalcy in such difficult times.

    Salman Khan shared a throwback photograph with Shah, reminiscing about their long-standing relationship and wishing for his eternal peace. He emphasized Shah’s larger-than-life personality, noting, “Life lived kingsize.”

    Sushmita Sen, who shared the screen with Shah in ‘Main Hoon Na’, expressed her gratitude for his presence, writing, “Thank you for gracing our lives!! Rest in peace Sir, Satish Shah.”

    Vivek Oberoi paid a heartfelt tribute, calling Shah a person who “lit up every room.” He recalled Shah’s supportive role as a mentor on his debut film and his unforgettable portrayal of Indravadan Sarabhai, praising his innate kindness and gentle demeanor.

    Numerous other Bollywood stars, including Priyanka Chopra, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, R. Madhavan, Paresh Rawal, Anupam Kher, Johny Lever, Farah Khan, and Karan Johar, have all expressed their profound sadness.

    Johny Lever, a close friend of over 40 years, shared his disbelief and sorrow, highlighting Shah’s significant contributions to Indian cinema and television. He remembered their decades-long friendship with fondness.

    Farah Khan, who directed Shah in the blockbuster ‘Main Hoon Na’, fondly remembered him as a joy to work with and a constant source of amusement through his daily jokes and memes.

    Anupam Kher shared an emotional video, recalling his numerous film collaborations with Shah and praising his humor and extensive knowledge.

    Hrithik Roshan acknowledged Shah’s early kindness and support during his career beginnings, stating that his “humour and legacy” would endure.

    Satish Shah’s ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’ co-stars were among those present at his cremation, offering a final, tearful farewell. The actor passed away due to kidney-related complications. His iconic roles include those in ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro’, ‘Main Hoon Na’, ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’, and ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’.
