Former President Donald Trump has reiterated his support for tariffs, describing them as the ‘most beautiful word.’ He said that other nations had been taking advantage of the US for many years and now ‘we’re treating them fairly.’ He further expressed his enthusiasm for tariffs, declaring them his favorite word, and claiming that the US is experiencing significant wealth. He highlighted the large amounts of money the US is taking in. Earlier, Trump announced a 100% tariff on all foreign-made movies, claiming America’s film industry had been ‘stolen’ by companies abroad. He also said that, starting October 1, 2025, his administration would impose a 100% tariff on branded and patented pharmaceutical products unless those companies manufacture in the US.
