In a recent post on Truth Social, former US President Donald Trump stated his belief that he could facilitate a peace deal between Israel and Iran. He drew a comparison to his past diplomatic efforts in bringing India and Pakistan together. “Iran and Israel should make a deal, and will make a deal,” he wrote. Trump also mentioned his involvement in the Serbia-Kosovo conflict, and the Egypt-Ethiopia dam dispute. In another post, Trump clarified that the US was not involved in the attack on Iran and warned of repercussions if the US were attacked.
