The Army Chief, General Upendra Dwivedi, recently launched ‘Operation Sindoor: The Untold Story of India’s Deep Strikes Inside Pakistan’ in New Delhi. The book, authored by Lieutenant General KJS Dhillon, details the military operations against Pakistan. During the launch, General Dwivedi confirmed that Operation Sindoor is ongoing. He emphasized that the book highlights the courage of the Indian Army and the nation. He noted the synchronized and strategic efforts of the Indian Army during Operation Sindoor.

General Dwivedi stated that the conflict extended beyond May 10th. India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7th, targeting terrorist infrastructure in response to the April 22nd Pahalgam attack. The Army Chief described the Pakistani response and the subsequent Indian counterattacks, which resulted in a four-day conflict. A ceasefire was reached on the evening of May 10th. The book includes untold stories which are not commonly discussed. General Dwivedi thanked Lieutenant General Dhillon (Retd) for his contribution. General Dwivedi also mentioned the relevance of the ongoing conflicts on the Line of Control, highlighting the lack of awareness regarding their impact.
