A district administration inspection in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, resulted in the shocking finding of forty young girls locked inside a toilet at an unregistered madrassa. The girls, aged between 9 and 14, were discovered during a probe into the illegal operation of the educational facility. The madrassa was situated in a three-story building within Pahalwara village. During the inspection, authorities faced initial resistance from the madrassa operators. However, with the assistance of the police, they gained access and located the locked toilet on the building’s terrace. After the door was opened, the girls emerged, reportedly unable to speak. According to local sources, the madrassa had been functioning for three years without proper registration.
