Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed satisfaction with a conversation with former US President Donald Trump, centered on strategies to end the war. This followed Trump’s announcement of a deal to supply Ukraine with weapons through NATO. Trump and NATO’s Mark Rutte discussed the deal where the US will send weaponry and the allies would be paying for them. Zelenskyy shared that the discussion included how to protect Ukrainian citizens and maintain defense against Russian attacks. The two leaders also committed to frequent communication to coordinate their efforts. The US’s reaffirmation of support comes after temporary pauses in weapon deliveries were reported.
