Actor Varun Dhawan has spoken out against what he sees as the insensitive way the media covered the death of Shefali Jariwala. He took to social media to express his dismay at the paparazzi documenting the grief of Jariwala’s family. In an Instagram post, Dhawan called for ‘sensitivity’ and ‘respect’ from the media. He questioned the practice of covering the private grief of individuals, stating that it benefits no one. This followed the wide circulation of videos and photos from Shefali Jariwala’s funeral, where her husband Parag Tyagi and family members were seen in deep grief. After the funeral, Parag Tyagi requested privacy. Shefali Jariwala passed away late Friday. She was rushed to a Mumbai hospital, where she was declared dead. The cause of death is still under investigation, though initial reports suggested a cardiac arrest. Shefali Jariwala was known for her work in the 2004 film ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ and her appearances on reality shows like ‘Bigg Boss 13’ and ‘Nach Baliye,’ where she appeared with her husband.
