On Thursday, the court of Special Judge Atrocity Judge KS Baria has given the verdict after about 12 years in the much talked about Chandauri sex scandal case of the district. The court of Special Judge has sentenced six people including the accused ASI in this case to life imprisonment. At the same time, the court has acquitted four people in this case in its verdict.
Sex scandal happened in Chandauri of Varaswani
In 2011-12, a sex scandal took place in Chandauri under Varaswani police station area of the district. In this case, the police had accused 10 people and registered a case against them under various sections and took up the investigation and presented the case before the court.
In the final hearing of the verdict on Wednesday, the court of special judge has sentenced the accused ASI Megharam Shrinil, constable Niklesh Thakur, Rajul Kentagle, Kamlesh Patel and two others to life imprisonment. In this case, the judge has acquitted Shashank Mahule, Hitendra Chauhan, Jamuna Bai and Geeta Bai.
