Veer Budhu Bhagat Jayanti: The birth anniversary of martyr Veer Budhu Bhagat was celebrated with pomp in Lohardaga. On this occasion, Jharkhand government minister Deepika Pandey Singh said that the government of the grand alliance will give special identity to the birthplace of the martyrs. Bir Budhu Bhagat Jayanti was organized in Maina garden of urban area of Lohardaga. Vikas Mela was also organized on this occasion. Vikas Mela was inaugurated by Chief Guest Deepika Pandey Singh. MP Sukhdev Bhagat was present as a special guest. Before launching the program, the minister and guests garlanded the statue of Veer Budhu Bhagat in the Maina garden.
Government will give special identity to the birthplace of martyrs – Sukhdev
On this occasion, Chief Guest Sukhdev Bhagat said that the Jharkhand government will work towards getting the birthplace of the martyrs of the state special. In Tiko, Kudu, the martyrdom of Veer Budhu Bhagat, Shaheed Haladhar, Girdhar, Runia and Jhunia will be developed as a tourist destination. He said that the youth of the new generation should also know about the martyrs. Wherever there are programs in memory of the martyrs, the people of the government are going there and paying tribute to them.
Remote villages will be connected to mainstream – Deepika Pandey Singh
