    Father and son died in a road accident.

    Highlights

    The accident happened on the highway near Manipur village. The bike riders were returning from a relative’s house. Police is searching for the vehicle that hit them.

    Navdunia representative, Vidisha. A tragic accident took place on National Highway 146 near village Manipur located in Gyaraspur police station area of ​​the district. Here an unknown vehicle hit a bike, due to which the bike rider father and his younger son died on the spot. At the same time, an elder son was seriously injured. He has been referred to Vidisha District Hospital for treatment. Police have started investigation after registering the case.

    Accident happened while returning home

    The deceased’s relative, Dighora Sarpanch Maharaj Singh Ahirwar, said that Vijay Ahirwar (35 years) was going to his home in Vidisha from village Dighora on a two-wheeler with his two children. Vijay and his son Jitendra, 6 years old, died after being hit by an unknown vehicle on the way. Vijay’s elder son Bhupendra Ahirwar, aged 9 years, has been seriously injured. He is undergoing treatment at the district hospital.

    Constable Santosh Mishra and pilot Sonu Yadav of Hundred Dial Gyaraspur brought the father and son to the Community Health Center of Gyaraspur where the doctors declared them dead after examination. After postmortem, the bodies of both have been handed over to their relatives. Police is searching for the unknown vehicle that hit them.
