Goyal delved into sector-specific strategies: world-leading solar capacity, automotive giants like Tata and Suzuki, and emerging leaders in drones and EVs. He announced central government support for Gujarat’s bid to host India’s first gigafactory cluster.
Central to Goyal’s vision is integration with global value chains. Through FTAs and production-linked incentives, Gujarat will anchor India’s export surge to $2 trillion by 2030. The minister praised the state’s single-window system, reducing project approvals from years to months.
Major announcements included Rs 50,000 crore in fresh investments across 50+ projects. International delegates from Japan, UAE, and the US committed to joint ventures in critical minerals and defense corridors. Goyal stressed women’s empowerment programs, with 40% workforce participation in new manufacturing units.
