Raipur: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the state government has achieved historic success in its efforts to eradicate Naxalism. The effective policies and development-oriented approach implemented by the government have created an environment of lasting peace and security in the state. Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that under the leadership of our double-engine government, in the last 13 months, 305 Naxals have been killed, 1177 Naxals have been arrested, and 985 Naxals have surrendered. These figures not only reflect the government’s commitment and efficient strategy but also prove that Chhattisgarh is rapidly moving towards peace and development, free from Naxal violence.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Naxal problem is not limited to the actions of security forces, but is also a social and developmental challenge. His government has attempted to solve this problem with a holistic approach. Rehabilitation schemes have been prepared for the surrendered Naxals, providing them with employment, financial assistance, and opportunities to return to the mainstream of society. These rehabilitation policies are not only trying to bring positive changes in their lives but are also creating an atmosphere of peace and trust in society.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the arrest of 1177 Naxals is a result of the state government’s strong security policy. The state government has equipped the security forces with state-of-the-art equipment, advanced training, and better coordination. It has been ensured that the activities of Naxal organizations can be eliminated from the root. Strict legal action is being taken against the arrested Naxals to strengthen justice and law and order in the state.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that his government’s priority is not only to motivate Naxals to lay down their arms but also to ensure that they can rejoin society and live a respectable life. Special schemes have been created for the rehabilitation of surrendered Naxals, under which they are being provided with employment and vocational training. In addition, special attention has been paid to the development of infrastructure in Naxal-affected areas. Rapid expansion of basic amenities such as roads, electricity, education, health, and employment has been carried out in these areas. These development works have not only increased the confidence of the local tribal communities but have also motivated the youth to leave the path of violence and join the mainstream of society. The impact of these development works is that Naxal-affected areas are now gradually moving towards peace and prosperity. The state government has adopted a more effective and far-reaching approach to resolving the Naxal problem. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that his government wants to make Chhattisgarh not only Naxal-free but also a state that is a symbol of peace and development. The government’s long-term plans for Naxal eradication include encouraging industrial investment, expanding education and health services, and increasing skill development opportunities for youth.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the state government has adopted a holistic and effective approach to resolving the Naxal problem. The figures of 985 surrenders and 1177 arrests prove that the state is not only moving towards peace but is also establishing new dimensions of development. This achievement is strong evidence of taking Chhattisgarh towards lasting peace and prosperity, free from Naxal violence.
