Watch Madhai Yaani Kootam: Vikram Sugumaran’s Thriller Now Available Online

The Tamil thriller Madhai Yaani Kootam, the debut film of the late filmmaker Vikram Sugumaran, is now available for streaming on Zee5. Released in cinemas on December 25, 2013, the film stars Kathir and Vela Ramamoorthy. The movie was successful at the box office. Other cast members include Kalaiyarasan, V. Jayaprakash, Vee Jenish, Kaali Venkat, and P. Virumandi. The film was produced by G. V. Prakash Kumar, N. P. K. S. Logu, and Go. Venkatesh under the banner of GV Prakash Kumar Productions. Vikram Sugumaran, who also directed Raavan Kootam, died of a cardiac arrest on June 2, 2025, at the age of 47.
