Suresh Jalan Private Jet: Giridih, Rakesh Sinha-Giridih’s famous industrialist Suresh Jalan, who exports carbon electrode paste abroad, has purchased an aircraft worth Rs 102 crore. This aircraft has become a topic of discussion after landing at Giridih Aerodrome on Saturday. The twelve seater aircraft has been purchased by industrialist Suresh Jalan for commercial use. After purchasing this aircraft in Switzerland six months ago, its body work was completed. In future it will also be used as an air ambulance. For this, Suresh Jalan, owner of Carbon Resources Company, has planned to spend Rs 20 lakh. The latest technology has been used in the construction of this aircraft purchased in the year 2024. The good news for Giridih is that it can be used as an air ambulance in case of emergency for the local needy.
Carbon paste is traded within the country as well as abroad.
Suresh Jalan established a small scale industry in Giridih in the year 1990 and within a short period of time it became Asia’s largest company in the manufacturing of carbon electrode paste. Many factories of this company are in Giridih as well as Begusarai, Durgapur, Visakhapatnam and Haldia. Carbon electrode paste is used in the manufacturing of steel. This company not only supplies paste to many big companies of the country, it is also exported to foreign countries. There is a lot of demand for carbon paste in countries like Indonesia, Portugal, Bhutan and Singapore.
Both sons Abhishek and Abhinav are skilled businessmen
Suresh Jalan has two sons Abhishek and Abhinav. Both the sons are talented as well as skilled businessmen. Suresh Jalan’s company has made a place as the largest tax payer in Jharkhand and Bihar. It is said that Suresh Jalan’s name is included among the 500 big industrialists of the country. Presently Abhishek and Abhinav are engaged in furthering the business. Suresh Jalan’s companies have offices in many states of the country.

They help the poor by providing financial support to many social organizations. Suresh Jalan is constructing a hospital in Kolkata at a cost of Rs 10 crore. Milk is supplied free of cost to the hospital for tuberculosis (TB) patients in Giridih. He also contributes a lot to Giridih Gaushala. He has provided a machine for dialysis in the hospital run by Giridih Rotary Club. He has also provided facilities to the advocates in Giridih Vakalatkhana by providing financial support. A few days ago, Abhinav, son of Suresh Jalan, had proposed to the district administration to provide airlift facility on behalf of the company to the people seriously injured in the bus accident in Giridih. At that time, due to night stay, the injured could not get the facility of airlift. Due to this both the injured died. Abhinav also regrets this. In such a situation, the people of Giridih will be able to get its benefit.
