    Weather Alert: Heavy Rainfall Expected in Delhi, UP, Bihar, and Mountain Regions

    The monsoon season is bringing varied weather conditions across India, with several states experiencing rainfall. Mumbai is expected to avoid heavy rainfall this weekend. However, light rain is still possible until August 24th. The monsoon pattern has moved towards Gujarat.

    The Meteorological Department has issued alerts for Gujarat, South Maharashtra, Konkan, Goa, and other western coastal areas, anticipating rainfall. Alerts are also in effect for the mountainous regions of Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh. Delhi residents are currently dealing with humid conditions.

    Rain is predicted in Delhi until August 27th. The light drizzle hasn’t made a significant difference in the weather. Rain and thunderstorms are possible in the capital city today. August 23rd is expected to have cloudy skies and moderate rain, with similar conditions on August 24th and 25th. Rain or thunderstorms could occur in Delhi on August 26th and 27th.

    The weather in Uttar Pradesh has changed, and the Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rainfall alert for five days, beginning today. An alert for heavy rainfall has been issued for 38 districts today. Rainfall is expected across nearly the entire state on August 24th and 25th. Heavy rainfall may last until August 26th.

    Additionally, heavy rainfall is set to begin in the area from Bihar to Bengal and Odisha. The Meteorological Department forecasts heavy rainfall for the next week in Bihar, Jharkhand, the Himalayan region of West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha. Lightning is a possibility in several states. Heavy rainfall is also anticipated in Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan for the next six to seven days.

    Heavy rainfall is also expected in the hilly states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Special warnings have been issued for Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Heavy rain may occur in Uttarakhand from today through August 25th. Himachal Pradesh may experience heavy rainfall from tomorrow through August 26th.
