    A new storm is forming in the Arabian Sea, though it’s not expected to directly affect India. Located 280 kilometers from Dwarka, Gujarat, it’s moving northwest. The weather department has issued alerts due to the possibility of rain across multiple states.

    Over the next five days, Northern India, especially the Northeast, is likely to see rain. Delhi is also in the forecast for rain, with cloudy skies and intermittent sunshine. Tomorrow, Delhi might face rain and thunderstorms, with a yellow alert for October 6th, warning of possible thunderstorms. Similar conditions are anticipated for the 7th.

    Rain is returning to Uttar Pradesh. Today, eastern Uttar Pradesh is likely to experience thunderstorms and showers. An orange alert has been issued for several eastern UP districts. From tomorrow until October 7th, western UP is expected to have more rain than eastern UP, with the possibility of hailstorms and heavy rain in some areas on October 6th and 7th.

    Bihar has been experiencing heavy rainfall this week. The weather department has issued a red alert for all of North Bihar. The forecast indicates rain alerts for the state until October 5th. Rain is also expected in several districts of Jharkhand, including Dumka, with an orange alert for some.

    The weather department has issued a red alert for heavy rainfall in the Himalayan areas of West Bengal and Sikkim. Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh may see adverse weather on October 5th and 6th. Heavy rainfall is possible in the higher areas of Himachal Pradesh, with an alert issued. Kashmir has experienced its first snowfall of the season.

    Weather in Uttarakhand could change rapidly. Light to moderate rain is anticipated in some districts today. Light to moderate rain is expected in Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, and Nainital.
