    Naiduniya Representative, Bhopal: The period of rain continues in Madhya Pradesh due to the activity of monsoon. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in Sagar, Jabalpur and Umaria districts. Citizens in these areas have been advised to take special precautions. At the same time, drizzle will continue in the districts of western Madhya Pradesh.

    Dark clouds will cover the state

    According to the Meteorological Department, a monsoon trough is active from Uttar Pradesh through Jharkhand to the western Gulf. Due to this trough, dark clouds will remain in the entire state. However, the effect of the trough will be less visible in the districts of western MP, but light rain will continue there.

    Other areas including Bhopal will experience light rain as well as humidity. Meteorological Centre scientist Ajay Shukla said that there is a possibility of moderate and sometimes light rain in the next 24 hours.

    Bhopal received light rain on Monday. Although dark clouds remained throughout the day, there was no heavy rain. Due to this, people also felt a slight humidity. The sun also came out for a few minutes in the morning, but soon after that drizzle started.

    Due to the heavy rain that started late Monday night, many areas of the city were waterlogged on Sunday morning. It rained intermittently till late night, but the rain has stopped since Monday morning.
