    The country is currently experiencing significant rainfall, ranging from mountainous regions to the plains. The India Meteorological Department has issued a warning predicting widespread rain, thunderstorms, and lightning strikes across the nation in the coming days. Several states may experience heavy to very heavy rainfall. The forecast includes the potential for landslides in hilly and coastal areas, floods in low-lying areas, and the possibility of lightning strikes.

    The meteorological department has predicted rainfall in Delhi for the next five days, until August 18. Today, Delhi is likely to experience thunderstorms accompanied by rain. The sky may be cloudy tomorrow, and moderate rainfall is expected. On August 15, Independence Day, the weather in Delhi will likely be favorable, with thunderstorms and rain. Similar weather conditions are forecast for the 16th and rain is also possible on the 17th. On August 18th, there is a chance of rain or showers accompanied by thunder.
