It has been raining heavily in Aligarh for the last two days. In view of this, Aligarh Muslim University has declared a holiday for classes up to 12th. District Magistrate Vishakh ji has declared a holiday in schools in the district on Friday, 13 September.
On the orders of the DM, the District Basic Education Officer has issued a letter and directed all schools affiliated to all boards up to class 12 to remain closed on Friday, September 13.
