The incident took place in Bhatchak village, falling under the Town police station. The woman, who was married to Sawan Kumar alias Commando for seven years and had three children, began an affair with her nephew, Deepak Kumar.
The family’s disapproval led to conflict. Despite the husband’s efforts to persuade her to stay, emphasizing the needs of their children, the woman chose to leave. This led to a marriage ceremony between the woman and her nephew.
In their video, the couple declared their voluntary decision to marry and appealed for protection. They also stated that the girl’s parents would be held responsible if any harm came to them.
