By India Today Web Desk: In the early hours of Monday, Bageshwar in Uttarakhand was struck by an earthquake with a magnitude of two.5 on the Richter scale.

The earthquake hit the area at 4:49 am at a depth of 5 km. The epicenter coordinates had been 30.10 N and 79.86 E.

On Sunday, round 1 pm, tremors had been felt in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The magnitude of the earthquake was 3.0. The depth of the earthquake was 10 kilometers. Alos, an earthquake of magnitude 3.8 hit the western a part of Arunachal Pradesh on Sunday afternoon, PTI reported. The National Center for Seismology mentioned that the quake was recorded at 12.12 pm.
