21 miners trapped after Xinjiang coal mine accident: Official media

Eight miners have been rescued and 21 stay trapped in a coal mine that flooded in northwest China’s Xinjiang area, Chinese state information company Xinhua reported on Sunday, citing a neighborhood emergency division.
Part of the mine flooded resulting in energy outages simply after 6 p.m. (1000 GMT) on Saturday when 29 miners had been working on the mine positioned in Xinjiang’s Hutubi county, the report stated.
In a separate report, state media outlet Global Times stated 12 of the miners who stay trapped have been positioned within the mine as of Sunday and are anticipated to be rescued, whereas an additional 9 staff haven’t been positioned.
