By India Today Web Desk: Flash floods and landslides triggered by torrential rains in a southern Philippine province killed a minimum of 72 folks, leaving 14 others lacking.
Most of the victims have been swept away by rampaging floodwaters and drowned or have been hit by debris-filled mudslides in three cities in hard-hit Maguindanao province, AP quoted the inside minister for a five-province Muslim autonomous area run by former guerrillas, Naguib Sinarimbo as saying.

The tropical storm, which was reported to have made landfall within the japanese Catanduanes province on Saturday, had most sustained winds of 95 kilometres (59 miles) per hour and gusts of as much as 160 kph (99.4 mph).
The authorities have prohibited any travelling or household reunions within the proximity to sea areas on All Saints’ Day within the largely Roman Catholic nation.
All Saints’ Day is widely known in honour of all of the saints of the church.
