Four Baloch fighters lost their lives in a fierce clash with a ‘state-backed’ armed group in the Barkhan district of Balochistan. The gunfight happened in the Koh-e-Jandar area of Rakni tehsil and lasted for several hours, with both sides utilizing heavy weapons. The deceased have been identified as Mustafa Noor, Samiullah, Rasaan Qadir, and Shahzaib, their bodies were taken to a hospital in Rakni. In a separate development, a military operation by Pakistani forces in the Spilinji area of Mastung district resulted in intense fighting. Large troop movements were observed, followed by heavy gunfire and explosions. The number of casualties from the Mastung clashes is currently unknown. These incidents demonstrate the ongoing instability and conflict between Baloch nationalist groups and state forces in the region.
