BBC chairman Sharp resigns after report says he breached tips

BBC Chairman Richard Sharp resigned on Friday after an neutral report found he breached tips for public appointments in relation to a mortgage for then Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Sharp acknowledged he had agreed to a request to stay on until the highest of June to current the federal authorities time to look out his successor.
