The pilot reported the plane dropped 1,000 feet. Medical teams assessed passengers and crew members upon landing, with 25 individuals requiring hospitalization. Passengers reported the initial turbulence caused flight attendants to lose their balance and that subsequent turbulence became more intense. Flight data revealed the aircraft rapidly lost altitude, descending from over 38,000 feet to 35,775 feet in a short time. The airline stated its gratitude for the support of emergency responders.
