Dove faces boycott for hiring Black Lives Matter activist, folks dump soaps

Beauty big Dove partnered up with controversial Black Lives Matter activist Zyanha Bryant for a “body positivity” marketing campaign. The partnership with Bryant has drawn an enormous backlash, together with from Tesla proprietor Elon Musk.

WHO IS ZYAHNA BRYANT?

Zyahna Bryant had accused her fellow University of Virginia scholar, Morgan Bettinger, of constructing derogatory remarks throughout a 2020 Charlottesville rally, insinuating that George Floyd protesters would function “speed bumps.” Bettinger is a university scholar and the daughter of a deceased police officer.

Bryant campaigned to get Bettinger suspended from campus, and Bettinger’s file exhibits she confronted disciplinary actions for her feedback.
