Escalating Conflict in Balochistan: Four Baloch Fighters Killed and Military Operations Underway

Violence continues to plague Balochistan as four Baloch fighters were killed in a clash with a state-backed armed group in Barkhan district. The battle took place in the Koh-e-Jandar area of Rakni tehsil on Friday and lasted several hours, with residents reporting the use of heavy weaponry. The deceased were identified as Mustafa Noor, Samiullah, Rasaan Qadir, and Shahzaib. Their remains were transported to a hospital in Rakni. Separately, a military operation by Pakistani forces in the Spilinji area of Mastung district led to intense fighting. Significant troop movements occurred late Thursday night, resulting in extensive gunfire and explosions. The exact number of casualties remains unclear, and no Baloch armed group has taken responsibility for the clashes in Spilinji.
