Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar has initiated a state visit to the United States, with a focus on high-level discussions. The visit will feature a meeting with Secretary of State and National Security Advisor Marco Rubio, at the US State Department in Washington on Wednesday. This will be their second meeting, with the first occurring during the Secretary of State’s visit to Israel in February. Minister Sa’ar is also scheduled to meet with US Homeland Security Secretary Christie Noam, whom he welcomed to Israel in May following the deaths of Yaron Lishansky and Sarah Lynn Milgram, employees of the Israeli Embassy in Washington. The schedule further includes meetings with the Conference of Presidents, AIPAC leadership, and a reception for Jewish community leaders and Christian friends of Israel.
