Israel’s defense apparatus delivered a crushing strike against Hezbollah, confirming the elimination of senior commander Abu Khalil Barji in a Majdal Selm airstrike. Two fellow militants also fell, as IDF forces continue their campaign to neutralize threats from the Iranian proxy. Barji, a Radwan Force stalwart, lately commanded a unit specializing in assaults on IDF troops, making him a prime target.

Concurrently, Israeli jets pummeled Hezbollah strongholds across southern Lebanon, severing supply lines and command posts. Previously, the IDF touted the killing of Hamas financier Walid Muhammad Dib, whose Lebanon operations bankrolled terror in various regions and facilitated recruitment from Syria and Lebanon.

Dramatic IDF-released video shows soldiers on a ground mission identifying armed intruders, initiating combat, and summoning aerial firepower that dispatched all nine Hezbollah fighters involved. Remarkably, every Israeli soldier emerged unscathed. Lebanon’s health officials report over 1,000 dead, with 100+ children among them, highlighting the steep price of ongoing hostilities.

These operations reflect Israel’s unyielding commitment to border security, progressively weakening Hezbollah’s arsenal and morale. As the death count rises, international observers watch closely for signs of de-escalation or further intensification in this powder-keg corridor.
