Iraq and Qatar Discuss Hormuz Freedom and Regional Security

In a high‑level meeting in Doha, the Qatari emir and Iraq’s prime minister highlighted the importance of maintaining unrestricted navigation in the Hormuz Strait, a crucial chokepoint for global oil shipments. They urged the United States and Iran to move beyond rhetoric and translate the MoU into concrete actions within the 60‑day timeline originally set by the agreement.
