After the Israeli Air Force conducted air strikes on Houthi targets in Yemen, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu affirmed Israel’s resolve to continue its military actions against its adversaries. He emphasized that the strikes were a response to attacks and that Israel would respond to any further aggression. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that its fighter jets targeted multiple locations in Yemen, including sites in Sana’a and Al Jawf, focusing on military camps, a fuel depot, and the Houthi’s public relations headquarters, which is considered a propaganda center. The Air Force stated this was its most extensive mission since the war began, covering over 2,350 kilometers. Defense Minister Israel Katz lauded the operation, describing it as a painful blow to the Houthis. Since March 18, the Houthi group has launched many missiles and drones towards Israel. Houthi militants have also attacked ships in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. The conflict originates from the October 7 Hamas attack.
