Jerusalem Shooting: Five Israelis Killed in Ramot Attack

A shooting incident in the Ramot area of Jerusalem resulted in the deaths of five Israelis and left 15 others wounded, with seven in critical condition. Two attackers initiated the shooting near a busy bus stop, subsequently being neutralized by security forces. Hamas praised the attack, calling it a heroic operation. Following the attack, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called for an emergency security meeting. Security officials are currently investigating the incident, and the nation’s security forces are on high alert. The National Security Minister, Itamar Ben Gvir, was present at the site to assess the situation. Due to the attack, the Jerusalem District Court postponed a hearing in the Netanyahu case. Israeli military patrols are underway in Palestinian villages surrounding Ramallah, suspected to be the source of the attackers.
