Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, part of the Axiom-4 mission, marked the final days of his space journey with a shared meal aboard the International Space Station (ISS). He is scheduled to return to Earth on July 14. Astronaut Jonny Kim captured and shared photos of the event, which showed Shukla and other crew members enjoying the meal in microgravity. The Axiom-4 mission’s launch from the Kennedy Space Center occurred on June 25, with docking at the ISS following on June 26. During the two-week mission, Shukla and his crew circled the Earth about 230 times, traveling approximately one crore kilometers. The crew also faced the ‘high beta period’ with constant sunlight exposure, which meant NASA had to closely regulate temperatures.
