Man injures three police, is killed after assault in Marseille

A French man with a knife injured three cops within the southern metropolis of Marseille on Saturday, and was killed by police after repeatedly ignoring warning pictures, authorities stated.

Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin described a “violent attack with a knife” and stated police have been in a position to “neutralize the victim and avoid the worst.” Speaking from the location of the assault, Darmanin stated the attacker was not recognized to police and had no police document.
