A major military operation by Israel has led to the elimination of key Iranian military leaders. The IDF reported that the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, the Commander of the IRGC, and the Commander of Iran’s Emergency Command were killed in airstrikes involving over 200 fighter jets. The IDF described the deceased officials as “ruthless mass murderers.” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed the launch of ‘Operation Rising Lion’, aiming to address the perceived Iranian threat. In response to the operation, Defence Minister Israel Katz has declared a state of emergency throughout the country. The attacks targeted multiple military and nuclear facilities across various regions of Iran.
