Baloch insurgent groups have carried out multiple attacks on Pakistani military personnel in Balochistan, leading to a high number of fatalities. The Balochistan Post reported that at least 27 Pakistani military personnel were killed in the attacks. The BLA’s Fateh Squad conducted a suicide attack on a military transport bus, resulting in the deaths of 27 soldiers. According to BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch, while civilians were present on the bus, they were not the intended targets. The BLF also reported separate operations, including an IED explosion and an ambush, resulting in additional casualties, including Major Syed Rab Nawaz Tariq. These attacks underscore the persistent conflict in Balochistan and the ongoing challenge to Pakistan’s control of the region.
