Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva, southern Israel, was directly hit by an Iranian missile, according to statements from the Israeli Foreign Ministry and the IDF. The attack is part of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the action, stating that Iran’s actions were a deliberate attack on civilians and promised a strong response. He declared, ‘We will exact the full price.’ Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar shared a video showing the damage and accused the Iranian regime of war crimes. The conflict has been escalating since June 13, 2025, after Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear and military sites, followed by Iranian retaliation, including targeting Tel Aviv and other areas.
