A suicide bombing in North Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, resulted in the deaths of 16 Pakistani soldiers after a vehicle packed with explosives struck a military convoy. Numerous civilians, including children, were also injured in the attack, which the Pakistani Taliban has claimed responsibility for. Concurrently, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has asserted responsibility for the deaths of six Pakistan Army personnel in Balochistan, stemming from recent clashes. The BLA has also reported casualties among its fighters during the confrontations.
