Pakistan: Persecution of Christians continues, Lahore couple arrested over ‘blasphemy’ allegations

According to Dawn, Taimur, a resident of Harbanspura, filed a criticism with the police, saying he was standing at a meals store on a road close to the Rangers headquarters when he noticed some pages being thrown from the roof of a close-by home. 
He picked up the pages, which had been discovered to be from the Holy Quran. 

The North Cantonment police registered a blasphemy case towards the lady, recognized as Kiran and her husband Shaukat Masih for his or her alleged involvement in desecrating the holy scripture. The case was filed underneath Section 295-b of the Pakistan Penal Code.

There has been a sudden rise in circumstances of false blasphemy accusations towards the members of the minority neighborhood in Pakistan. In many circumstances, the individuals take legislation into their fingers and perform violent assaults on the homes and locations of worship.
