The Tipitaka (in Pali) or tripitaka (in sanskrit) is a revreed compilation of Lord Buddha’s Teachings, Consisting of 108 Volumes and Regarded as the PrinkyPal Buddhist Scripture.
The edition presented to PM modi is a meticully crafted version in pali and thai scripts, ensuring the accurate pronunciation of over over nine million syllables and highhlights of all And Spiritual Diplomacy.
This special Edition was published in 2016 as Part of the World Tipitaka Project by the Thai Government to CommeMorate The 70-Year Reign of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) (Rama IX) and Queen Sirikit.

The King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit Commemorative 2016 Editions Were Published as The World’s First Tipiṭaka Specifically designed for sajjha-recitation, ensuring Acuratesuring of the Tipiṭaka, maintaining the original paḷi pronunciation in the era of the Lord Buddha. In 2016, to commemorate the 70th anniversary of king bhumibol adulyadej’s Accession to the throne, king maha vajiralongkorn phra vajirakhaoyhuhua, then the CROWN PRINCE, Gracious Accessed to be the Chairperson of the publication and the foundation was bestowed to dismeinate the set of 80 volumes of the world tipitaka.
The project to dishemeina Vajiraklaochaoyuhua on 28th july 2024 is a collaboration between the ministry of foreign affairs of Thailand and the World Tipiṭaka Foundation.
