The accident passed off in Nanchang County and the trigger behind the mishap is but to be ascertained.

Almost an hour after the information of the accident emerged, secure journey suggestions had been issued by Nanchang County site visitors police for the drivers. The police stated the world was experiencing “foggy weather”.

“The accident caused 17 deaths, 22 people were injured, the injured have been sent to the hospital,” state broadcaster CCTV reported, citing native authorities.

“Driving visibility is poor, there is low visibility, which can easily cause traffic accidents,” it stated.

In its site visitors advisory, police suggested commuters to concentrate to fog lights and drive rigorously, asking them to not change lanes and overtake.

Road accidents are frequent in China because of an absence of strict security controls. Last month, one particular person died throughout a freeway pile-up in central China that concerned a whole lot of automobiles and was brought on by low visibility in fog.

And in September, 27 passengers died after a bus transporting them to quarantine services in southwestern Guizhou province flipped over on a motorway.
