Ship carrying particles from Titan submersible returns to Canadian port

By Associated Press: A ship that had been trying to find the ill-fated Titan submersible is again in port in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Wednesday, with particles from the destroyed vessel.

The Canadian-flagged Horizon Arctic carried a remotely operated car, or ROV, that searched the ocean flooring not removed from the wreck of the Titanic, about 700 kilometers (435 miles) south of Newfoundland.

The house owners of the ROV, US-based Pelagic Research Services, confirmed that its staff has efficiently accomplished offshore operations.

The firm mentioned it’s eradicating its tools from the Horizon Arctic after “working around the clock for 10 days.”

Photos from the wharf present what seem like a number of items of the submersible being lifted from the ship, together with the nostril cone with its distinctive round window.
