Authorities in Singapore fined a 53-year-old Filipino maid, Pido Erlinda Ocampo, 13,000 Singaporean dollars (around Rs 8.8 lakh) for violating her work pass conditions. The breach involved Ocampo working for an employer other than her designated one on her rest days. This action is in violation of the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act, and the Ministry of Manpower has launched an investigation.
