By India Today Web Desk: Six ladies have been arrested over the suspicious loss of life of a one-year-old boy at a nursery in England’s Dudley city.

West Midlands Police stated the toddler’s loss of life on the nursery in Bourne Street on December 9 is being handled as suspicious.

The prison investigation was launched following a go to by Ofsted to Fairytales Day Nursery after the boy’s loss of life. The nursery has been closed by Ofsted together with different linked premises, reported The Independent.

Three ladies – aged 20, 23 and 50 – had been arrested on December 16 on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter. They had been later launched on bail.

Three extra ladies – aged 51, 53 and 57 – had been arrested on Wednesday, two on suspicion of company manslaughter and one on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter.

A spokesperson from the West Midlands police stated, “We are treating the death of a one-year-old boy on December 9 at a Dudley nursery as suspicious and an investigation is under way”. “The family of the baby boy is being supported by specially trained officers”, The Independent quoted the official as saying.

Post mortem of the physique has been carried out however additional exams will probably be executed to determine the precise reason for loss of life.
