Sriwijaya Air aircraft crashes in waters off Jakarta: Report

New Delhi: The passenger aircraft of Indonesia’s Sriwijaya Air, that misplaced contact quickly after the takeoff, has crashed in water not removed from Jakarta on Saturday, Xinhua reported citing native TV.
Human physique components and particles of the aircraft have been discovered, Captain EKo Surya Hadi, commander of Trisula coast guard ship. The flight was carrying 59 passengers, together with six youngsters, reported Indonesian newspaper Republika.

Earlier it was reported, Indonesia’s Sriwijaya Air misplaced contact with a Boeing 737-500. The aircraft took off from Soekarno-Hatta Airport. It was heading to Pontianak, the provincial capital of West Kalimantan.
