Swan on observe halts London practice line service for over 2 hours, passengers caught

By India Today World Desk: Services on a serious part of London’s Elizabeth line have been suspended as a consequence of a swan blocking the tracks, reported The Independent.

Passengers onboard reported the obstruction, leading to a closure between Heathrow Airport and Abbey Wood by way of the centre of London. The remainder of the road skilled extreme delays.

National Rail Enquiries confirmed the presence of the chicken on the railway, and the incident was reported on Thursday at 12:56 pm (native time). Despite efforts, the road remained closed for over two hours.

Passengers have been held on trains, which lacked bathroom services, for as much as an hour at Paddington station as a result of swan on the tracks. Some passengers took to Twitter to precise their frustration, criticising Transport for London (TfL) for closing the whole Elizabeth line due to a swan.

The Elizabeth line, connecting Reading, Heathrow Airport, Shenfield and Abbey Wood, was launched in May final yr at an estimated value of ã18.9 billion (round Rs 195 crore).
