Texas man pauses date to shoot ineffective fake parking attendant who scammed him of $40

By India Today World Desk: A Texas man, who was allegedly scammed of $40 in parking costs whereas on a date, shot and killed the scammer sooner than returning to his dinner.

The accused, acknowledged as Erick Aguirre, 29, continued with the dinner after telling his date that “everything was fine” after he allegedly killed 46-year-old Elliot Nix in a carpark near Houston’s Rodeo Goat restaurant.

According to police, on the evening of April 11, Aguirre and his date parked their vehicles near the burger spot and the sufferer instructed them that it may worth $20 each. Aguirre paid Nix $40 and was later instructed by restaurant employees that Nix did not work for the parking lot.

A witness who seen Aguirre’s preliminary interaction with Nix instructed police he then seen the defendant sprint to his car, seize a gun and run after Nix who was out of his view, reported CNN citing courtroom paperwork.

After allegedly attacking Nix, the suspect instructed his date he had merely scared the sufferer. But courtroom knowledge state that instead of taking their desk the couple left as Aguirre appeared “uncomfortable.”

Following the taking photos, Houston Police launched a surveillance {photograph} displaying Aguirre and his date collectively, asking for most people’s help with identification. As per the police, the suspect’s date contacted them just some days later.

“She wanted to do the right thing. She wanted to make sure that she came forward and told the police what she knew,” Rick DeToto, the woman’s lawyer was quoted by The Independent as saying.

The suspect, who lives near Corpus Christi, Texas, appeared in courtroom on Thursday on murder bills.
