The Consulate offered condolences and pledged to assist the bereaved family. The circumstances surrounding her death have not been officially disclosed. A social media post from Ishu Tyagi claims that Tanya died on June 17th due to a heart attack, and her family has sought help from the Prime Minister’s Office to repatriate her body. According to her LinkedIn profile, Tanya was pursuing a Master’s in Food Safety and Quality. She also had a background in retail and quality assurance. This unfortunate event follows the earlier death of Vanshika Saini in Ottawa, underscoring the potential risks faced by Indian students studying abroad.
